This task was to produce an infograph on data that we collected throughout the university. After looking at a few infographs for inspiration, we then mind mapped idea's on what we could survey students on, and came up with topics such as race, distance travelled to university, jobs etc. However, we wanted to produce something that was fun, and more interesting to ask. As there is a Subway on campus, we chose to ask students what their favourite 'sub of the day' was. We could then futher develop this information by sending it off to Subway managers and showing if their 'sub of the days' are satisfactory or wanted, therefore improving their menu to something that everyone could enjoy. Here were our results:
Monday - Chicken Tikka: 1
Tuesday - Meatball Marinara: 10
Wednesday - Turkey and Ham: 1
Thursday - BMT: 3
Friday - Tune: 4
Saturday - Ham: 2
Sunday - Spicy Italian: 1
None/Make your own: 8
From the records we could see that Meatball Marinara was the clear favourite, however second up was none of the above or Make your own. It was then my challenge to produce an infrograph presenting these results.
